The design of this boat is belong to Tianjin Amada Company,and Amada has self-developed with independent intellectual property rights. Its first model was built in Zhejiang and the first trial was ride on in May 2014. All the performances have reached or exceeded the design requirements, and the boat has served with frontier patrol boat in army at present.
The boat adopts deep-V, monohull, double-stepped glider type. Main hull adopts fiberglass reinforced plastics and the boat is driven by twin high-speed marine diesel engines and twin Semi submerged propellers. On the basic of guaranteeing performance and practicability of this boat, the appearance design is considered to peruse concise, mighty and bravery and the arrangement is considered to have wide vision, good lighting, utility cabin utilization and convenient passages. The overall performances such as seaworthiness, stability and rapidity have reached the advanced level of similar boats. The main dimensional parameters include: L.O.A :11.00m, total width: 2.90m, depth molded : 1.63m ,maximum speed：51.5 knots (See the datasheet for details).
