The design of this boat is belong to Tianjin Amada Company,and Amada has self-developed with independent intellectual property rights. Its first model was built in Jiangsu and the first trial was ride in May 2015. All the performances have reached or exceeded the design requirements, and the boat has served in Related Frontier Forces at present. The boat is designed on the basis of the 1863d (albatross) inshore high-speed patrol Boat for the requirements of the Customs Coastguard department of designed modification and updating of the boat.
Both of them were designed by Amada Company, which are all self-developed with independent intellectual property rights. All the performances have reached or exceeded the design requirements.
The boat adopts Amada’s unique deep-V dual-stepped monohull type and integrates many new technologies that including small-arc dual steps, deep-V variable angles and air lubrication for achieving the outstanding rapidity, excellent seaworthiness and remarkable maneuverability. Main hull and superstructure adopt fiberglass reinforced plastics, and the boat is driven by two MTU8V2000M84L marine diesel engines, MG5135 gearboxes and American ASD12 surface propeller systems. The main dimensional parameters include: L.O.A: 19.51m, total width: 5.06 m, depth molded: 2.75 m; maximum speed: 48.6 knots (See the datasheet for details).
